He starts his career as a child actor in PTV plays Emergency Ward Ab Ghar Jane Do, Hum Tum, and Andhera Ujala. His first big appearance and famous character are Boota in Toba Tek Singh. His other famous characters are Ahsaas and Harjaee. He works in very limited films, mostly work in TV dramas. Faisal is living in Karachi with his mother Afshan Qureshi. Faysal married twice but his both marriages failed. He has a daughter and a son. His father Abid Qureshi has died when he was young. His mother was also a famous film actress of 1960’s. His mother was an actress of Punjabi films. His uncle Riffat Qureshi was a sound engineer he married with famous actress 60’s Rozina.

He first married when he was only 18 years old, but divorced his wife after 3 years. He has a daughter from first marriage named Hanish. He married again at the age of 24 but divorced after 18 months. He blessed with a daughter from his third marriage. He loves to drink vegetable juices.  He has hosted morning show Muskarati mornings with Ayesha Sana. This show was famous show awarded famous show of 2011. He has also hosted Hero Banney ki Tarang. In 2016 he comeback in morning show Salam Zindagi on ARY. In acting his role model is film actor Nadeem Baig. His first film Saza was released in 1992. He also joins Ary Digital show “Nach Baliye” as a judge.

His favorite co-star is his friend Ejaz Aslam. Baber Javaid is his favorite director. He got three chance in Bollywood he refused to work.
